I’m an independent journalist and communications professional who uses writing and storytelling to make research and social issues more human, relatable, and accessible.
Based in England, I grew up in India and have worked internationally across South Asia, East Africa and the UK. My work sits at the intersection of journalism, research communications, and participatory storytelling, to translate evidence into narratives that connect, inform, and inspire change.
As a journalist, I’ve reported on development, gender, labour, and social justice issues for several Indian and international publications. This grounding continues to shape my communications practice, which is rooted in ethical, feminist, and co-created storytelling — ensuring that people and communities have agency over how their stories are told.
Much of my recent work has focused on migration and displacement, exploring the stories and systems that shape human movement. In my most recent job at Samuel Hall, I led communications and storytelling across collaborations with UN bodies, INGOs, and local organisations, developing narrative strategies, stories of change, and creative campaigns that brought research to life.
